Antisemitism is WHACK! A Conversation with Kosha Dillz

Known for such hip hop albums as Beverly Dillz and Awkward in a Good Way, Kosha Dillz is Jewish-American rapper who writes and performs songs in Hebrew, Spanish, and English. He began rapping during his late teens and went on to study creative writing at Rutgers University. For several years beginning in 1999, he was heavily involved with the freestyle battle rap scene at Nuyorican Poets Café in New York City. He collaborated with a number of famous artists, including Snoop Dogg and Ghostface Killah, and released his debut album, Freestyle vs. Written, in 2008. Kosha uses his uncanny freestyle ability to approach everyday topics and cultural issues and to deal with his dark past through humor and witty punchlines. For the last year, he has been performing on the streets of NYC and creating noise that has landed him on the radio and on stages with hip hop superstars like Fat Joe.
