James is co-founder and CEO of Swayable, a technology platform that measures persuasion. Billion dollar brands, presidential campaigns, and startups alike use Swayable to test their messaging before putting it out to market.
James was previously Chief of Operations of NYT Global, the international digital team of The New York Times, a founding partner at New York-based social change agency Purpose, a strategy consultant at McKinsey, and co-founded Peers.org, working with the founders of Airbnb. He holds a PhD in experimental physics at Cornell, and originally comes to the USA from Australia.
